Tree Tops was founded in 1991 by Montessori teachers Sue Butler and Linda Hodierne and after many requests by parents expanded in 2005 to provide day care for children aged from 3 months to 5 years.
Montessori education provides a wide range of experiences, which stimulate a child’s love of learning and discovery. The object is not to cram the child with knowledge – or cause confusion by giving too much choice but to build a firm foundation for future development.
We ensure that our children learn about healthy food and the benefits that it gives them.
Nutritious healthy food is prepared on site by our qualified cook for all our children.
Our team of dedicated, well qualified and experienced staff provides the highest quality of care and excellent early education in a happy, relaxed and loving environment. Some of our staff have been at Tree Tops since our opening, giving continuity of care to both children and parents.
The Montessori teacher is gentle, sympathetic and encouraging. She ensures that every child is treated with respect, given freedom within the confines of a carefully structured environment and allowed to develop naturally at his or her own pace.
